There was so much content from this year's review issue that not all of it made it into our print issue. With that in mind, here’s our online-only list of the best and most popular long-form pieces that we’ve published this year.

In January, we released our long-anticipated "guide to drinking classy on the cheap.” I (being the science editor and all) wanted to take a more objective approach to the age-old question of how university students can drink, cheaply.

The AUS is serving up four flavours: London fog, vanilla, coconut chocolate chunk (which is vegan) and honey lavender. All flavours are gluten and egg-free, so there is no excuse not to go gorge yourself in celebration of the last week of classes.

This is the 10th year Block Party is being thrown and it's going to be just as big and awesome. Six thousand people are going to attend this year’s party and it’s going to be great. Too bad it’s sold out.

Unless you've been living under a rock or go to Kwantlen Polytechnic University, you're probably aware of the age-old rivalry between UBC and SFU. However, some UBC students wouldn't even say it's a rivalry and might even ask, “What's SFU?”

It’s a shame that Sexy Squirrels of UBC folded before internet squirrels finally got their time to shine. From what I remember, the page solely consisted of attractive people in bathing suits with squirrel heads photoshopped onto them.

Graduation is just around the corner! If you’re a graduating student from any faculty or degree, congratulations! If you have friends or family who are graduating this year, I’m sure you’ll want to attend the ceremony.

With free-falling elevators in Ponderosa, sinks lacking their sole purpose in the Nest and constant electronic issues in the classroom, it's not surprising that UBC Building Operations receives many complaints from students and faculty every day.

Whether you managed to harass your friends into joining a team at the last minute or are allergic to exercise, evaluating the Storm the Wall team names has been a time-honoured tradition here at The Ubyssey.
