From 2004 through 2008, McGuinness led the women’s team to three CIS National Championships while also accumulating 2,523 points along the way, which is still the most amount of points a single player has scored over their career in UBC’s history.

Now retired from flipping and flying, former Stanford gymnast Hailee Hoffman is continuing her academic journey as a Master’s student in mechanical engineering here at UBC.

It was a successful day for the UBC Men’s soccer team, with four Thunderbirds being picked in the two rounds of the 2021 Canadian Premier League (CPL) U Sports draft: Thomas Gardner, Christopher Lee, Victory Shumbusho and Jackson Farmer. Even in a pandemic stricken season, Matt Neaves looks to blaze a path for UBC men’s volleyball. Neaves's path during this pandemic has seen him trade his environment at UBC for a spot with the Canadian National Excellence Program (NEP) in Gatineau, Quebec.
