On Friday night, the UBC women's hockey team defeated the Trinity Western University Spartans, 4–3 in overtime, at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Arena.

Men's hockey splits weekend with Golden Bears

Over the weekend at Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre, the UBC men's hockey split their weekend series with the University of Alberta Golden Bears, losing 5–3 on Friday but bouncing back for a 4–1 win on Saturday.
