Known for having a reputation for nostalgic programming, the UBC Film Society is screening Space Jam this Friday, February 17 at 7 p.m. in the old SUB.
If Space Jam doesn’t entice you enough, they will also have popcorn and beer free of charge. While you usually need to purchase a $5 membership, this event welcomes everyone. The movie doesn’t actually start until 8 p.m., but people are encouraged to come early and mingle beforehand, play some games and have some drinks.
Their Facebook page explains the night as “super low-key,” and notes that it is a 19+ event, so no underage drinking for all you Neanderthals.
