Just because we live in major metropolitan area, doesn't mean we can't enjoy the beauty that is touching big animals. Today from 12 to 3 p.m., you can stop by the Nest to hang out, pet and even feed humanity's third-most anthropomorphized creatures — horses.
In a regular event put on by the UBC Equestrian Club, you will be able to spend your afternoon with some horses. There will even be the opportunity to have a Polaroid taken of you and your equestrian friend to have physical evidence to prove that you, in fact, did see a horse today.
There will even be donuts for you to munch on while you pet everyone's favourite obsolete form of transportation.
Just remember, the only way to touch a horse is while you softly whisper to it.
