Want an excuse to drink copious amounts of beer and participate in a tradition dating back to the 1800s? If that’s a Ja! then you’re in luck. The Calendar’s annual Oktoberfest is less than two weeks away! On Friday October 4, waltz into Koerner’s Pub and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of an authentic Bavarian Festhalle; beer flowing, bratwursts sizzling and good times abound.
There are three seating options: Opening Seating 5 to 6 p.m., Second Seating 7 to 8 p.m. and Late Night Seating 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased via The Calendar’s Facebook page. It is 19+, so make sure to have two pieces of government ID ready at the door. Once you’re in, have a seat, order yourself a drink and a pretzel and let the German tunes take you away. After downing a few steins you and your friends will be yodelling along to Franzl Lang all night long. Beer, music and a night with some great people; what more could you ask for? So don your lederhosen or cinch up your dirndl and "Prost!" the night away.
Drink responsibly!
