The Janice Swings, named after School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (SALA) Director Leslie Van Duzer's mother, have been reinstalled along Main Mall.
Members of SALA worked with students and UBC Campus and Community Planning to build the three bentwood swings in an effort to, according to ubc.ca, "[help] to create a fun and vibrant public space for the campus community to enjoy."
