iBU does what they call "textbook consignment," where you name a price for your book, hand it over to them, then they sell it. 80 per cent of the profit goes back to you, and 20 per cent goes to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation. If they don't sell it, you get it back, no charge. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
They've already started visiting residences. Here's their schedule, according to their Facebook event:
Walter Gage: April 22 and 25 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Place Vanier: April 23 and 26 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Totem Park: April 24 and 28 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
If you're lazy and/or want to feel good about donating a little bit to an extremely deserving charity, this seems like a no-brainer. Check out their Facebook page for more info.
