Hell yes, they’re back: Today from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Nest in room 2301 there will be Bunny Therapy where you can cuddle with bunnies to your heart’s content and distract yourself from how awful midterm season is.
The event is organized by the UBC CMSSA and the UBC Science Undergraduate Society and it’s free to attend, and any donations from the event go to Rabbitats, a local rabbit sanctuary that houses rabbits that are feral or abandoned, so you can cuddle some bunnies and help a good cause too.
Sign-ups are done on a Doodle form, but there are drop-in spots as well for some impromptu bunny cuddling. As well, downstairs in the Nest they will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts, so you can sweeten up your day even more after cuddling with some buns.
So if you like small cute fluffy buns as much as the next person, go check it out and hopefully destress a little. Just don’t feed the bunnies any donuts, donuts are not for bunnies.
