Wednesday, April 6 marks UBC's centennial celebration, which will take place outside the Nest from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Included in the festivities will be the Dedication of the Musqueam Post, a time capsule buried by the AMS that is to be opened in 2065 and a performance by Laydy Jams.
Perhaps most importantly, starting at 11:30, you'll be able to buy certain menu items from UBC's food trucks for a dollar each — here's the list:
- One piece fish and chips at School of Fish
- Poutine at Hungry Nomad
- Cashew salad at All About Thai
- Wreck Dog at Doghouse
- Spring roll at Roaming Bowls
The celebration will also be giving away free brownies, lemonade, tea and coffee. Want to know where every food truck is parked? We made a live-updating map with their locations.
