Friends of the Garden (FOG) are hosting their 25th annual Apple Festival this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the UBC Botanical Garden.
FOG is a group of volunteers who keep the Botanical Garden pretty and pristine throughout the year and they are asking for your attendance at the fundraising event. Tickets to attend cost $5 and all proceeds will go towards the Botanical Garden. This event is also partnered with UBC Sustainability and is aiming towards a zero-waste weekend.
The event is outdoors so I suggest gearing up in your warmest layers and raincoat if you’re heading on over, but don’t let the rain get you down! Explore all the different apples the Garden has to offer and enjoy some time outside of the library — even if it is a little grey.
