The Calendar and Dive into UBC are hosting their third annual Arts and Culture Night this Wednesday, January 24 with live performances featuring UBC Slam Poetry and UBC Improv at the Museum of Anthropology.
The night will feature acts ranging from spoken word to dance performances, all while experiencing the incredible pieces in the museum, which guests are free to explore. MoA is currently home to five different exhibitions that guests are able to visit, giving everyone a chance to interact with the museum, while enjoying a fun filled night with multiple performances.
UBC Slam Poetry has showcased some amazing artists in the past and this night won’t be any different. Although poetry is their main focus they are an accepting community that also takes in rappers and singers. Additionally, UBC Improv is already well known on campus for their constantly sold out performances, which can make even the grumpiest person crack a smile.
The tickets for the Arts and Culture event are being sold online for $4 each and are going fast, so get yours today.
