While mistakes are imminent for most endeavours, this is getting ridiculous.
On Monday or Tuesday, you may have logged onto the AMS’s voting software to find, simply, that you were not able to vote. While usually that fate is reserved for children and inmates (up until 2002), it turns out that all these people did wrong was go to school in the fall semester and not the winter one.
While the problem was fixed Tuesday evening, it definitely casts yet another shadow of doubt onto AMS Elections. We’ve already covered a mistake in the voting website so, what mistake in democracy is next? Whatever that might be, one thing is for sure: double check your vote!
