Following his TedX Talk this past weekend, Santa Ono is hosting a livestream on the UBC Facebook page this Friday at 11:30 a.m.
Ono's TedX Talk focused specifially on mental health, his own struggles included. He opened up about students who have faced suicide, not only since he's been at UBC, but also when he was president at the University of Cincinnati.
Based on the title of the livestream, I would say it's a pretty safe bet that Ono will be furthering his discussion and continuing to create the conversation that we must have to support one another, not only on campus, but off campus as well.

Since Ono has come to campus, he has been very open in discussions with students through social media. Through Ono's Reddit AMA to his vlog YouTube page, we have been able to learn a lot about him and this Facebook live event is sure to do the same.
