It was another immensely successful month for poetry. With so many great submissions, we had a lot of trouble narrowing everything down to only seven winners. Once more, the variety of styles, techniques and approaches was thoroughly impressive, with each demonstrating impressive talent with great promise.
We would like to thank all those who submitted their poetry. Reading through their works was a supreme pleasure and we look forward to another batch of verse for the September competition.
Without further delay, here are the winners of the August poetry competition:
7th: "I Find Truth at Night" by Osbert Yu
6th: "What Still Grows" by Mo Barrios-Crockett
5th: "I Can't Be With You." // "That's Okay." by Morgan Noll
4th: "Ambiguous You" by Morgan Govier
3rd: "Nomad" by Claire Lloyd
2nd: "Nuclear" by Maayan Cohen
The Grand Prize Winner: "A Simple Divulgence" by Jamie Quiambao
