From the Cult: Andy Lin doesn’t need to look far for his 12 disciples

And on the seventh day Andy Lin finished his work of preaching the gospel and letting the UBC community know that there aren’t enough Christians on campus. Oh, except these ones:

• UBC Ambassadors for Jesus
• The Food and Faith Community
• Adventist Christian Fellowship — UBC Chapter (ACF-UBC)
• University Christian Ministry
• Catholic Christian Outreach
• Chinese Christian Fellowship
• Christian Students At UBC
• InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
• Born For More
• Agape Impact (Korean Campus Crusade For Christ)
• The Navigators

Perhaps, much like Jesus called his 12 disciples together, Lin could call upon any of these 12 AMS-sponsored groups to (continue) preaching the word of the Lord to their approximate 3,324 combined members. Or he could collaborate with one of the many other religious or spirituality-based clubs on campus.

A recent survey conducted by The Ubyssey showed that 27 per cent of students consider themselves religious. From Judaism to Falun Gong, Islam to Bahá'í Faith, there are lots of opportunities to get involved.
