If you find yourself overwhelmed with actually eating a proper meal while also balancing homework, sleep and a social life, meal prepping is a great way to save time and make sure you’re not eating Kraft dinner three times a week.

When I started writing this installment of Only Partially Relevant, I intended to do the usual — some combination of jokes n’ such about who-knows-what and who-cares-why. And then last Tuesday happened.
The entire UBC campus has band together in support of Movember’s great charities and raising awareness for men’s health issues. There are so many exciting events happening this year that we needed to make a list to keep track of them all.
Did you feel like a storm cloud was following you around all of October? If yes, don’t worry — it wasn’t just your imagination. It rained a whopping 28 out of the 31 days of October this year, breaking the record of October 1985.
All of these recipes are very easy to make on your own, depending on what your fruit preferences are. These ingredients can just be stuck in the blender all at once and voila — you’re basically a total Vancouverite now.
Here’s what it takes to transfer to UBC from a university in the US. Is getting into UBC easier or harder than immigrating to Canada? You be the judge. But please don’t crash the UBC website — we have enough problems with Connect already.
If you sit upon The Knoll on this splendidly mild day, you'll be just far enough from the encroachment of the club members in red hats, but close enough to eaves drop the on the heated political conversations happening.
Arms were flailing, friends exchanged looks of confusion and pretty much no one was doing the same thing — but Kirby powered on. Pretty soon, everyone embraced the zumba mantra that there are no wrong moves as long as you’re moving.
For people who don’t read their UBC email, Rexall is now offering student discounts. In case you didn't know, Rexall is a pharmacy with multiple locations around Vancouver for those commuter students out there.
There’s no point in buying something you don’t like just because it’s healthy and you think you’ll be able to force yourself to eat it. Don’t waste your money on food that’s going to end up in the garbage.
All pretty crappy ideas, right? You might not think so now, but like that Celtic armband tattoo 17-year-old you thought “really expresses universal human spirituality,” you’ll probably realize how dumb that is a few years down the line.
Sadly, the mini horse is looking a little down as he’s getting soaked in the rain, so go and cheer him up! The goats at least seem to be in good spirits. Take a break from the puppies on campus that are helping with midterm stress.
SafeWalk usage rates have reached 2,400 walks per month since last February. You’ll find that this is a great transportation service that ensures your safety when travelling from one place to another on campus at night.
Do you know the best thing about the day after Halloween? No, it's not the discount Halloween candy — it's the start of Movember. Indeed, tomorrow is the beginning of a glorious time for men (and women!) to show off their best moustache.
You've seen The Shining, you've seen The Exorcism of Emily Rose, but believe me when I say that you can’t even begin to know the true meaning of fear until you have seen UBCs “Legend of the Vanishing Hitchhiker.” Have you heard of it? Of course not.
