As we approached the far beach to grab our baton, we almost got soaked. Our runner leapt out of the moving vessel as soon as he could reach land which then sent the left side leaning dangerously close to sea level. Luckily, our squad managed to stabilize ourselves before we lost any more balance.

This past weekend, the UBC Thunderbird’s team defeated both the University of Regina Cougars and the University of Saskatchewan Huskies on David Sidoo field. They left the Cougars out in the cold with a 3-0 shutout, and then battled to get a 4-0 win over the huskies

After a successful road trip that saw the Thunderbirds men’s soccer team pick up wins against the Fraser Valley Cascades and the Trinity Western Spartans, Mike Mosher’s squad returned to UBC to take on the Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack at Wolfson Field. The ‘Birds gave up few chances and managed to record their second consecutive clean sheet in a 2-0 win.
