For Toth, the opportunity has been the cherry on top of an astonishing final season with UBC. He currently leads the Canada West in nearly every goaltending statistic, posting a .930 save percentage and a 1.99 GAA with a record of 10–3–1.

“There's literally no standards for your body type, or what you look like,” Bauder said, encouraging others to not shy away from getting involved. “You have a place no matter what, so don't be afraid to try out.”

Playing volleyball has always come naturally to MacTaggart, a master's of Indigenous community planning student in the School of Community and Regional Planning and member of the women's volleyball team.
Upon moving to Vancouver in 2016, Eyster grew bored of “running in squares or rectangles” on Vancouver’s predictable, grid-like streets. Eyster decided in the summer of 2019 to work towards running every street in Vancouver.
For Miswaggon of the women's hockey team, being a female athlete “means wanting to show that I can and will do anything I want in sports and prove to others that said I couldn’t.”

The assistant coach of the UBC women’s volleyball team, Jodi Zbyszewski shared how she became involved in coaching and her experience in the industry as a woman in sports.

The Canadian Ski Council, a national non-profit organization that represents Canada’s 237 ski areas and is focused on increasing interest in snow sports across the country, released a media callout encouraging people to participate in winter sports to stay fit and active during the colder months.
Warriors Chief Business Officer Colby Fackler said fans can expect a night full of excitement geared towards college students. “We've got some fun halftime activities … It's either going to be a tug of war between UBC and SFU or a giant beer pong game.”
The winter sports facility has hosted some of the biggest names in hockey, figure skating and more.
