UBC’s Allard School of Law has created programs for law students looking to expand their horizons beyond Canada. These programs afford students the opportunity to extend their degree and potentially graduate with accreditations from both schools.

The AMS recently hired Shilo St. Cyr as the new manager of the Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC). She is replacing Ashley Bentley, who left the position to take on a new role as the sexual assault intervention and prevention advisor for UBC.

Today and tomorrow on the main floor of the Nest, UBC students have organized a booth to raise money and awareness for Standing Rock through positive displays of resistance, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on these days.

The AUS had their first Council meeting Tuesday night since a Ubyssey story was published outlining financial issues surrounding stARTup, the society's orientation event. The reaction from the student body has been mostly one of condemnation.
