The Digital Tattoo project uses blog posts, essays, videos, and even a badge system as a resource to help students think about their online presence. As Cindy Underhill, colead of the project, puts it, "applications and tools online are not neutral."

As of September, Sprouts — an organic, vegetarian food outlet — will be temporarily moving out of the old Sub and into the Pit Pub in the AMS student Nest. Given the Pit space's usage at night, Sprouts will only occupy the Pit during the daytime.
The Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), released today, names UBC as the 34th university in the world. Last year's ranking placed UBC in 40th place, and this is the first time that UBC has dropped below 35th place.
