The OneClass Chrome extension has been sending spam promotion emails via Connect to students for the past month. The extension has the ability to collect any personal information — including CWL credentials entered using Chrome.
Both noon and 8:30 a.m. examinations have been cancelled on UBC's Point Grey campus due to the poor travelling conditions caused by the weather. Updates on the 3:30 p.m. exam block will published on UBC's website at 12:30 p.m.
In the two years since the renovation, sales in the clothing and gift departments have increased by 18 and 11 per cent respectively. Sales from the convenience store have also increased exponentially, going from $198,000 in 2014 to $625, 000 in 2015.

University RCMP have asked the campus community to be on the lookout for a 12 year-old girls who has been missing from Norma Rose Point School since 8 a.m. this morning. She is described as Caucasian and 5’2” with long red hair.
The size of these donations by Glenn Walsh and Greg Peet is a testament to the success of the e@UBC program. The program started in 2013 with $1.5 million invested into 12 ventures as a kind of a pilot.
Students may now “resign” from UBC’s AMS, thanks to new provincial legislation. Under that legislation, students are also entitled to a number of court remedies if their society has “oppressed” or “unfairly prejudiced” them.
All the recommendations submitted by the AMS to the provincial government have been addressed in a consultation report released by the Standing Committee on Finance. These recommendations were made in an effort to make education more affordable.
UBC has issued a weather advisory on its Facebook page saying that all sites of the UBC Vancouver campus are open, but that caution should be used when travelling. Students who are unable to attend class will not be penalized.
