The UBC Thunderbirds' Lacrosse Sport Club has come a long way since its inception in the fall of 2012. What started with a couple of friends, three-foot long lacrosse sticks and a ball tossed around Totem Park Residence now has 25 players on its roster and is one of nine clubs selected to kick off the UBC Athletics' new athletic stream — the competitive club.

Professor of anthropology Charles Menzies took to Twitter to trash the Hotline Bling project put on by Dive Into UBC, The Calendar and the AMS.

The play’s well-written banter between all characters is noteworthy. It makes the chemistry and emotional ties between all characters feel legitimate and are made better by the aforementioned acting. In other words, it has plenty of lighthearted personality to keep you engaged. This is also important because these are the play’s only saving grace.

A second protest against the tuition hikes was held by students last week, this time in the form of a teach-in. The teach-in was organized by the Social Justice Club (SJC) and featured two speakers.

"I’m tired and I’m losing speed for everything. I’m barely making it to class because all I want to do is sleep and not have the stress of everything hanging over my head like a black cloud of doom. I’m just so sick of feeling burnt out.”

Coming off of a win against the Manitoba Bisons in the Canada West semifinal, UBC football earned a stunning 34-26 victory against the undefeated, number-one ranked Calgary Dinos to hoist the 79th Hardy Cup.
