Women’s hockey has done it again. By winning against the University of Manitoba Bisons, they brought home another banner three years after winning their first ever Canada West title in 2012. Now they’re returning to Calgary for nationals.

On the spectrum of volunteering opportunities available to students, one end offers an experience that emphasizes personal satisfaction for the volunteer. At the other end is a prioritization of learning and long-term development for the community.

They’ll be holding what they call the “Phi Pelt,” where fruit generously donated by local grocers will be sold by donation, then thrown at active members of the fraternity, including current AMS President Aaron Bailey.

The BikeRave is possibly one of the kookiest and most fun events on campus. It's the ultimate event where you can come and just be yourself. Hosted by the BikeRave committee since 2013, the event is where everyone comes to rave.

Students may only submit their work once, meaning each year is a completely unique experience for both those involved and for those watching the shows. The festival showcases a wide variety of new plays from one-man shows to musicals.

“These films are definitely interesting. I chose them because they show our appreciation, yet respect, for nature are self-propelled with a good storyline and align with how we represent ourselves as a club,” said Skaien.

It's spring and that means all of the fraternities and sororities are out in full force, raising money through various tournaments, races, BBQ's and bake sales. Check out some of the events below and help raise money for some great causes.
