But I like to have good grades, and I always weigh the pros and cons carefully inside my head. Do I not show up to office hours and risk having a mediocre grade? Or do I suck it up, show up and potentially increase my chances of scoring an A?

Riding a bike offers an experience that is distinctly unique. With the same energy exertion, you can go further with a bike than you can when you run — and unlike when you are in a car or bus, you are actively moving as you push down on the pedals.

As we head deeper into the 2019 federal election, students and faculty members with dual citizenship at UBC can fulfill their civic duty and vote for their representatives in the House of Commons. Some dual citizens may have been born here but didn’t grow up in Canada at all. It can be a little more uncomfortable — if you don’t feel engaged in Canadian politics, should you bother voting at all?
From a special polling station in the AMS Student Nest to advanced polling over Thanksgiving weekend across the country, Elections Canada has made voting for students an easy process — so long as they are on Canadian soil.
The AMS hosted a viewing party for the debate in the Lower Atrium of the Nest where students filled rows of seats and watched as the political leaders debated.

“So often, because of all this emphasis on getting antibiotics in quickly, that’s what clinicians do,” said Sweet.
